Long lasting marriage usually won't be all sunshine and rainbow, bound to have many rough patches all along too. Funny story, my parents almost ended up on divorce early on with their marriage because my dad was busy moving from one place to another for work around 3 years and since my brother and I stayed in one place with my mom, she's just couldn't stand it and began seeing this doctor on the hospital (she's working on the health insurance office on the hospital).

Now my aunt, happily going "her own way" couldn't stand seeing this shit and reported it to my dad. He literally quit his job and just moved back with us to find a stable but with much less paying job. And the final nail on the coffin was his friend introducing them to this Christian cult and that's pretty much it. I live in Asia so there's definitely a huge cultural difference and whatnot, but sadly the western 21st century problem are slowly crawling its way in here and I just couldn't take that chance anymore, especially seeing all the younger women behave here in the (capital) city.
