DOOM Eternal current campaign should take between 18 and 22 hours to complete

When so much of the gameplay in Doom 2016 came down to "You're locked in a room with a organic thing that spawns demons that you just keep shooting then punching for five straight minutes" it wasn't very interesting. So I'm not really on board with a longer version of that.

I liked the old games of exploring, finding keys and secrets, then being able to figure out the maze and advance WHILE also killing demons and causing some carnage along the way. While I don't dislike Doom 2016, the most common loop of "locked in a room with just a ton of shit you have to kill before you can move on" didn't click with me like it seems to have clicked with a lot of folks.

I was very bored with Doom 2016. I can deal with that kind of simple and mindless gameplay if there's an interesting story, but Doom 2016 also didn't give me that.
