Door Dash skimming tips?

Firstly - I never said I went back to their homes. And obviously - as I'm aware this is against company policy, I give zero fucks about this job and would lose exactly NO sleep over getting sacked.

My statement about being a woman applied to the fact that both customers were women and I was very convinced that we were all on the same page - as women often are. But as I mentioned previously, even if I were wrong in my assessment it seemed odd to me that one of them immediately answered exactly 10% of their order total.

I am neither unstable or socially unaware. I'm a smart, savvy woman that questions rather than assumes. I happen to be retired, have a masters degree from a prestigious university and need to fill my days and earn a bit of extra cash. My questioning this isn't nearly as much about me, as it is about all of the young people that do this job and may be taken advantage of.

As for the issue of not itemizing - I couldn't disagree more. Let me pose this question to you -- when someone delivers to your house and you've tipped either on your cc or cash in person, the driver immediately knows what you tipped. Do you honestly believe that the people that are poor tippers, or non-tippers change their ways because of that? Absolutely not. So how does it differ? I'm an excellent tipper so no one has ever complained, but if I weren't, do you think the driver would "be upset" or "blame" the customer. Sure they would, but so what? It's not like they're going to retaliate. I don't care if I'm stiffed - I just think it's my right to know.
