Dota's amateur casters are seriously underpaid for their work, and esports viewers will suffer unless something changes

Supply and demand tbh, you cant have an infinite ammount of casters making big bucks when you dont have an infinite ammount of interesting tournaments/games. There are too many people wanting to cast, to the point where casters can easily be replaced if they dont wanna do it for $x. And lets be honest, no disrespect to anyone who wants to cast, but it is easier to start casting when you see money flowing to casters and players. When there was no money for casters and barelly any for players, only a few did it out of passion for casting or for the game, and those have their well deserved space nowadays, like Tobi.

I know it must be hard for less famous casters to get their space into premium tournaments now, but that goes to about [almost?] anything you wanna do in a capitalist world doesnt it? You think there arent very high skilled players out there dreaming with the chance to make a living out of playing dota and never even having a good opportunity to show themselves, maybe for being born in the wrong place without fair qualifier, maybe for the lack of networking with other HL players, maybe for crappy hardware issues.. i could be the best soccer broadcaster in the world and it could take 20, 30 years to find myself into a mainstream tv channel, or perhaps it would never happen. Heck, I could make a better ketchup than heinz tomorrow and 60 years from now i still wouldnt be selling as much ketchup. Life is hard for me and for you (lost count the ammount of times ive been smashed by life), but perhaps it was even harder in the past for the guy you see now at the top, who knows. Some have it easier, but some have it much harder.
