Double dribble no call saves Virginia.

I have never seen a loose-ball jersey tug called before lol

Also, the points don't count the same. Say a 1 point bullshit call happens in the first minute. Now with 30 seconds left, Auburn is down 3. They shoot a 3 near the end of the shot clock and tie it.

Instead, without the foul (in some mystical way everything plays out the same), Auburn is down 2 now. They shoot a 2 and tie it, because they have no reason to shoot a 3. Then the 1 point bullshit call happens and they lose by 1.

Auburn would be stupid to take a 2 in the first situation, but their shot selection changes because of when the foul is called.

Teams have a long time to respond to bad calls at starts of games, but they can't appropriately respond at the end. Auburn wouldn't know they needed to take a 3 (in this fake example)
