Overall a very good interview. A couple parts stood out to me, probably have no weight behind it because he’s incredibly hard to read, but I’ll highlight them below in case others had similar thoughts.

At 10:24 when he talks about the video Libby took, I find that part kind of interesting. It used to be framed like Libby had a gut feeling that something wasn’t right and that’s why she initially started recording. But now, and after everything we’re learning about the fake profile and that it’s a 43sec recording, plus how DC talks about this now, maybe the recording wasn’t so spur of the moment and more so because they were expecting to meet someone there and they wanted to capture that moment which as we know didn’t unfold as expected. Nevertheless, the recording is a crucial piece of evidence and what got a lot of people hooked on this case because of its ambiguity.

Also, at 2:43 when asked if they have a person of interest or a suspect, he says he’s confident that this will come to a conclusion eventually, while smiling and nodding. Could be because he had a similar response to the previous question and is just repeating himself again or his body language could be telling the real story.
