Doug Ford says he’ll talk about loosening law on public drinking | The Star

This will make the homeless and the deranged people happy... Because normal people probably won't start drinking in public...

Takes the topless law... It's been legal for decades in Ontario for women to walk in public topless... Yet when is the last time you've seen one do it? The last time I've seen one in Ottawa it was a homeless/prostitute on drugs and, believe me, you would have wanted her to be wearing a top...

Same thing with relaxing public drinking rules... We are not Europe, you better believe that those who will take advantage of this new right are the wrong people... Homeless, addicts and noisy youth...

We do not have a culture of discipline like the Japanese, the German or the Scandinavian. As for France, they mostly drink diluted wine with a low alcohol content. France even bans completely the advertisement of Alcohol and of alcoholic beverage brands in sport events. The "Molson Hockey Night in Canada" would be illegal in France.

Lastly, still on the topic of discipline, because Paris is the most visited city by tourists in the world, they have a task force to clean up the public places... Just wait to see Ontario's public parks littered with empty beer cans...
