Yo I'mma let you finish but I've seen some H-scenes that had great characterization and gave me the feels on an emotional level.

One personal example: [spoiler]Ragsmuena[/spoiler] from Kamidori Alchemy Meister. She's not even a main heroine but one of numerous party members that join you along the way and you don't get to know much of them outside of their 'scenes'. she comes across as a typical cold distant archetype, befitting for [spoiler]basically a walking possessed corpse[/spoiler] however her scene turned out to be probably my favorite scene in feels and characterization that I've seen so far while also being fap-worthy. That's the best of both worlds.

Now many scenes are shit and feel tacked on but I don't know that beforehand from a game I haven't played so the chance of missing out on them is something I stronly dislike. Also I don't like paying full price for a product where content has been cut. In the case of a visual novel a good portion of the CGs is among the 18+ scenes so you're missing out on a lot of content visual-wise.
