Why so down on Siemian?

I'm not sure what you're reading, but most negativity I see is less about Siemian and more about the offensive line's inability to keep a clean pocket. Add to that, the receivers have generally done a poor job of getting separation.

The only way the offense has been functional is by moving the pocket and making Fields a threat to run.

Add to that, the Jets defensive pressure is excellent, so unless the rest of offense plays above their current levels, or Getsy puts out a game plan that catches the Jets by surprise (I'd expect to get the ball out fast)... a pocket passer like Siemian is going to have a tough day. Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert, and Tom Brady would have a tough day behind this line.
