I really can’t express how angry I am at these people. We just started to get things under control an now cases will skyrocket. There is no indication the police even did anything wrong. The deceased’s own family called the police, she has a history of mental illness, her mother retracted her statement, and no one witnessed her being pushed. Incidence of police brutality in Canada is low, even racial prejudice in policing is not as evident as in America. Last guy who got fatally shot was white. Are there a disproportionate amount of natives in prison- yes. There is an inequality problem no doubt. But transplanting and superimposing America’s problems on to Canada is moronic. These people are self indulgent, self righteous, and more than anything just want to get out and socialize and have put all of the vulnerable people at extreme risk now.
