I downvote every /r/vegan post I ever see.

If vegans cared about converting people as much as you seem to think they do, there would be a lot more persuasive discussion. But they don't, and that's why their subreddit is full of them putting non vegans down and jerking eachother off.

If the change is gradual, we can just keep torturing them for a few decades until their numbers dwindle to the point it isn't a problem, and that is ok with you? Or is it "Just realistic" in which case so is the fact that most humans like meat more than animals, and bullying them from your high horse wont change that.

People downvote when a post upsets them and they don't care enough to discuss, or don't think it is worth it. In this case it just. Your response is proof of that, as you just cherry pick my arguments for what you want to say and ignore the rest. This is why I dont like r/vegan, people like you forming whatever narrative suits them and ignoring everything else.
