After that maybe make a vague post on your FB for friends only to view asking them for advice. Emphasize how you didn't mean to offend anyone you just don't want conservatives (do not say trans people) to use these situations as an excuse to dox women and trans people or something they can't really disagree with. At most you'll get "They'll do it anyway," which you can either half-agree with or half-disagree with depending how safe you feel. It will be hard to vilify you at this point.
