Dramas with Contract marriage

Fake relationships are one of my favorite tropes. I expanded the theme a bit and cast a rather large net (so quite a few won’t have the because this is my first life feel). Hopefully you find something enjoyable or time killing. All match the theme but not all are what I would consider “good.”

1 percent of something and the older version 1% of anything - contract dating

100 days my prince - not an actual “contract” but definitely a marriage of convenience for the FL

Bride of the century - technically not a contract but an arranged marriage and also the FL is pretending to be the actual bride.

Crash landing on you - ML pretends FL is his fiancée at one point

Goong - arranged marriage

Hapimari happy marriage - jdrama. Marriage of convenience

Lie to Me - fake relationship

Marriage contract - self explanatory. I loved it, but it’s super emotional as a heads up. Only drama to have made me cry of 150+

Mask - See bride of the century’s description.

My husband oh jak doo - contract relationship

Perfect and casual - cdrama. Contract marriage. Super cute and fluffy IMO but disclaimer he’s at one point (before their marriage) her professor. Normally I’d avoid the plot as a college student and child of a college professor since it’s kinda creepy, but I thought the show mostly handled it well.

Please love me - cdrama contract marriage

Prime minister and I - contract marriage

So I married an anti-fan - c-movie. Stars exo’s chan yeol arranged relationship. I’m still waiting for the kdrama version to come out

W - not really a contract relationship but the ML at one point fakes the FL being his fiancée

Marriage not dating - contract dating

Pretty man - cdrama contract marriage

Well Intended love S1&2 - cdrama. Same story different universes, so it shouldn’t matter much which one you watch. Marriage of convenience

The eternal love - cdrama arranged marriage

Ending again - contract marriage

Shanai marriage honey - jdrama marriage of convenience

Goblin - arranged dating

Honorable mention: The master’s sun. MDL says it’s a contract relationship, but personally I don’t think it fits. I do love the show, so I’m listing it anyway.
