I drank after 10 months of sobriety -need support

it happens

I easily drink 95% less than what I did before I joined this subreddit, but I'm a 24 year old dude who still really enjoys the odd alcoholic beverage with a group of friends every couple of weeks.

That doesn't work for everybody, and there's still times where I might want to have a little more, but I'm really hyper aware of how absolutely devastating it is, it destroyed my relationship, my health, my motivation.

All I'm getting at is

Sobriety is what you make it, and just like you said, no one can take it from you. It's just about trying your best to make the right choices, and understanding how sinister it can be, and how easy it is to slip up further.

Keep yourself in check, don't beat yourself up. You're human.
