DrDisrispect summarizes the feeling of playing MW right now

How did it get past the QA tests?

a public game company only has one law on it, corporate law states you must do everything to maximize profit, it made it past the QA tests because it was seen as a success through that lens and that lens alone.

if you think at this point AAA game studios are making games for enjoyable experience or an attempt at the best possible iteration of an engine, you must be ignorant to the fiduciary rule of corporations, you bought the game already, what happens then is irrelevant to the shareholders, you've already done the thing they require of the chiefs.

If they made this game harder and less fuzzy for noobs at this point, the shareholders would sue every chief responsible out of their position and replace them with someone who understands the fiduciary responsibility that they hold. You are not mad at game devs, your mad at capitalism interjecting itself into your preferred mode of art. If you think your the only ones experiencing this right, I got an ideological bridge to sell you. this is ancap ideology at the point of sale. good job freemarketeers!
