Drill Press vs. Band Saw?

I did a drill press first because I had to build a bunch of dorm bunk beds. I didn't have the space to actually put them together, so I built them to be put together in their rooms. I had to Moe them comstructable and deconstructable and meet build requirements of the college so I used bolts and T nuts and had to be precise in locating them as only a wrench was going to be sent with them to put them together.

It worked and I've never regretted having a drill press, even though I also have hand drills. I do have a bandsaw and don't use the drill press in woodworking too much anymore. So now I'd get way more use with a bandsaw than a drill press.
