Driver Misery

At the beginning of the year and end of last I was duck pulling drives consistently. It eventually spread like a virus to my 3 wood as well.

I was very close to quitting, was having zero fun, could still shoot mid-high 80s but I was miserable.

I started recording myself and really putting in time and effort at the range to correct things. Found out I wasn't keeping my left arm straight with my woods and had started watching my club in the back swing with woods cause I was so worried about my path with them due to hitting them like shit. Needless to say now I'm watching the ball and have to go out of my way to not hit a good drive. Shot a 78 this week, first time in the 70s ever in 40 yrs of golfing.

So, while I don't know what your specific issue is, just thought I'd share my experience of how things can improve with a little work and perseverance. Also maybe a little insistence with a lesson, agree to lesson scope before paying next time.
