Oh I do let people merge, but I do have advice for MN drivers.

Follow the signs instructing you to zipper merge. There is no reason to move into the lane that remains open past the merge point, mikes before the merge point.

I save lots of time being the only car driving for 10 miles on the expressway lane that will end. Just zipper merge at the end. I don’t understand why the cars line up and sit at a standstill 10+ miles before the merge.

Don’t even get me started on the car that will come to a complete stop on the expressway miles from the merge to try to force themselves into a long line of cars. It’s so incredibly dangerous to come to a complete stop on an open road with a 65 mph speed limit to change lanes miles before a merge point.
