Drone crashes into the water, getting a stunning view of the lake bed.

That would be great except it would have to be on purpose for us to see anything. If it were by accident there would be too much radio attenuation from the water for the pictures to be sent home to us. Most concepts get around that with a mothership that relays the signal back. Another issue is that the ice on top of Europa's oceans might be thousands of feet thick.

In any case, they're planning something for a low orbit of Europa or Enceladus soon, I think.
