Depending on your state, but very typically, you must be free of chemical dependency in order to receive a security license. On your license application, it will ask you if you are dependent on illicit substances, or if you have used illicit substances within X amount of months. Lying on your security license application is a big enough deal that if your company catches you, you could very easily face consequences greater than just losing your job.

Stick with fast food cooking, cashier work, or some other low skill job that typically does not care if you are drug addict. You could be making a huge mistake unless your state does not require you to be licensed.
