Drugs are bad!

I had a bad trip two years ago that fucked me up for a year. I almost dropped out of college because of anxiety. What you likely have is depersonalization/derealization. Once you realize you’re condition, the path to recovery is a lot quicker. Basically, the condition is your bodies coping mechanism to a traumatic event by making things not seem real and distancing your mind from your body. It is 100% treatable, but will take time. My general advice for people with the condition is to accept you have it, consistently push yourself out of your comfort zone (i.e. go outside more) and ignore the symptoms. Eventually you will think less and less about it and will be more engaged in the world around you. Then again you might not have dp/dr and if so ignore this. Hope this helps!
