Drunk ramble

“Because it’s like blowing up your house just because you didn’t like the paint job”

I know that line is a little silly since people’s mental illness make it so that it’s not a choice but it helps drive a point home and that’s that life is filled with moments of anguish. We’re all flawed. We all have something about ourselves that we want to change. We’ve all done shitty things. We’ve all been shitty people. That’s just how life is.

You can do two things Either a) say goodbye and peace out. There is no dignity in that but there is no shame in it either.

Or b) embrace what it means to be human. Meaning, embrace the will to live. You don’t hate life. You just hate your life for what it is right now. And things may not change but they can change. Why not try and seek that change?

The only thing great about suicide is the anticipation of it, for whatever that’s worth.
