So, people that buy cable/satellite through normal providers don't save up because they save money for the first 2 years ? That's their selling point - it saves customers money, so they switch for that reason ALONE.

If you don't plan on keeping the account for a couple years you aren't thinking about buying a grandfathered account. Period.

I am not "Doing It Wrong" - try selling these "$10 for 3 months of 50 channel" packages on Ebay for 3 months in a row and you TOO will be banned. It's DTV Clamping down on account reselling, it's also why the prices are going up, it's also why less people are selling them.
