This is quite a shitshow. Someone is going to be shafter here and they'll have reason to feel aggrieved. I can't see them distributing the votes because the legal position is that there are 4 seats and the final person eliminated never gets their votes distributed, but that's definitely not fair.

It amazes me that this eventuality was not considered before the election. With foresight, they could have stressed that in this circumstance, the last person eliminated would have their votes distributed.

Really looks like the only absolutely fair way to do this would have been to just do two separate counts. It would have brought us well into next week though.
