It was Halo 2, in it's prime. I went to evwry tournament that I could find. There was one at a local game shop that two of my friends (we'll call them Tyler and Nick) and I entered. We each did awesome. There was an odd number of people who entered and the last round came down to us three. First to 25 on midship, BR at spawn. Tyler wasn't doing good, Nick and I were tied the whole game. It was 24 to 24. I had just died in gunfight with Tyler. I spawned across the map. Nick and Tyler were trading shots on the adjacent platform. I saw Tyler's shield drop as Nick went in for the melee. I fired a single burst. Tyler fell. The crowd cheered for Nick. It was a good game. The scores board game up. Zazezizozuzy 25, Nick 24. I won and people went crazy. One of the best wins I've ever had.
