Dudes with high MR and bunch of years of experience, what motivates you to still play Warframe?

Legendary 2 and just waiting for final login reward before I catch up on the new weapons.

TL;DR: I grew to identify with a very niche aspect and im a huge nerd. Shooting, stabbing, and making things go kaboom is fun.

I used to play because I loved shooters, scifi, and exploring. It had a different ambience 9 years ago.

I grew to identify with aspects of it: I have chronic dpdr because of a congenital neurological disorder, and it always felt like I was in a dream - its how I'd describe it to folk "I can't tell when I'm asleep, I cant tell when I wake; I never feel like Im real, the world around me doesnt de real either - its always surreal. Like im watching someone else even though im here" and later that helped me feel a very strange identification with the idea of having been asleep and controling something that was, but wasnt you. I was first lucid when I was 17 and 'waking up' was wild.

All my friends grew up playing it too. We dont play as much, but when we can we do. And it's still great fun. We either go for meta just go catch up or off meta fun builds to see what itll be like to do XYZ

I love all the lore and fan theories about it. There's plot holes and problems, but its still all good fun. The philosophy they try to approach is great. I want to someday find a way to translate some of it into my heritage language, Abenaki, but im not sure how I want to do that and where I want to start.
