Nah dood, its a normal reaction to beg, yes its not attractive but however typically people are blindsided by a breakup when the dumper has weeks/months before hand in making the decision and that time to start accepting the BU before it happens. Its a loss, the brain is naturally going to grieves in ways that seem “unattractive”. When someone is hit by those emotions all at once it can be traumatic, especially when they truly loved you. Its worse than dealing with a death sometimes imo.

It also depends on WHY the breakup happened, was is incompatibility? A loss in attraction? Values? Depression? Etc…

And saying you NEVER take someone back, i question you definition of love and what that means to you. Its like you’re saying you’re never wrong or that you could never perceive a situation incorrectly. In this i would assume you communicated correctly and actually tried to resolve issues to no avail. But there are a lot of people that struggle with confrontation and simply create a reality in their head and don’t communicate with their partner and then breakup. This is what i mean by blindsided and thus its logical to assume reactions such as begging/pleading.
