During the interrogation scene of The Dark Knight (2008), the Joker manages to get a peek of the commissioner's watch to determine how much time he has left until the timers run out.

Something I realized is how impractical the sonar technology is for Batman to use while walking. It shows very clearly all of these different angles moving through the walls and floors, yet somehow he can still walk and know is surroundings and at the same time use the echo location? How would you know where to walk while looking at something 3 stories up? That would be so disorientating. Plus even in a fake comic book world it somehow comes across as too impossible to exist. Like it can somehow determine detailed shapes in real time through several floors of concrete?

Small stuff like that used to never bother me but now it does for some reason.
