Part 1:
This was the same in the Netherlands until the rise of Pim Fortuyn. Here is a link to his wiki as I think he deserves to be read upon.
Pim Fortuyn was a gay professor who took the Dutch politics by storm around 2001-2002 and was able to criticize Islam and the immigration problems without the left demonizing machine being able to suppress him. It was a perfect storm. In the US we just had 9/11 which opened up the eyes of many people. That combined with Pim being an eccentric marvelous speaker who came from a minority group himself (how could an openly gay man be a classical "fascist"?) who also came from the left originally (like the problems in society forced him to speak the truth, rather than hating strangers by default). The guy wrecked the left. I have never seen politics being more excited than in that time. I was privileged to have witnessed this period. I think few country's have ever had such a special politician in history.
What made Pim such a charismatic figure was that he could speak so openly about his intimate life. How he was hart broken when his friend left him. His relationship with God. Who his examples in life were. The purity and honesty with how he spoke about these issues (many issues normal politicians would never touch on) was completely disarmingly. The left demonizing raging machine was trying to catch him every day and everything they jumped on was not able to stick. The guy was complete Teflon as he was so honest and sincerely. It was beautiful.
Then he won 36% of the votes in Rotterdam before the main nationwide elections (the second city in the country and one of the biggest ports in the world) and caused a tectonic shift in a city that was always dominated by Dutch Labour. This guy was real and the left was desperate which made them raging more. I loved it. As a result of an interview in a major Dutch newspaper where he claimed that the country was full and that we should now focus first on integrating only, his party dropped him. He started his own party and took all the voters with him. The left had now created an awful climate and starting an own party is horrible so soon for elections. A lot of idiots were stepping up and the vetting process was not executed well. This would become a problem later on. The LPF (the name of his new party) became a joke once they became part of the ruling majority. A pity for his memory.
Memory, as Pim Fortuyn was assassinated by a left animal rights activist who was afraid for the "extreme right" ( the left terminology for people who tell the truth) climate that Pim had created. A climate where Muslims and immigrant would not be save or something. This was huge. The excitement about Pim, turned in a huge rage directed at the left demonizing tactics (Anne Frank, Nazi, WW2 equations, you know the left) campaigns. Always demonizing people who just maintain a different opinion regarding immigration. The left was full of guilt and could say nothing demonizing anymore and for quite a time to come.
This dynamic has assured us in the Netherlands that immigration and Islam can be talked about. Pim has done this and Netherlands would have the Swedish political climate without him. He was a larger than life personality. The reflex of the left always comes back. Once the outrage has calmed down they pick up where they left, and then it takes a death of a Theo van Gogh for example to remind people that Islam does not like freedom of speech and the right to ridicule their prophet. Netherlands also has maybe the biggest anti Islam party in Europe with their leader Geert Wilders. Far less charisma than Pim, but as Pim plowed the ground and made people feel that it is oke to be against Islam, a less charismatic guy like Geert can now become the biggest party in the Netherlands and also already was the supporting party (not part of the governing party's, but they did it with his support) for the coalition of the VVD and CDA (Christian part and an economical right wing party, that Rutte is leader off).
I know exactly what is happening in Sweden. I can smell and taste the climate that rules such a country as it was the same in the Netherlands before Pim. The reflexes are still there and will never go away but he soften them up like you can not imagine. The left liberals rather sleep in bed with an orthodox, Jew hating, gay hating , feminist hating, apostate hating, kaffir hating doctrine like Islam, a doctrine that hates everything liberals stand for, rather than protecting the minority's that are victim of them, including the minority's that also exist within Islam itself. They sell out on all their principles, just for the fact that they can self masturbate about how political correct they are. It's a weird psychotic state that has manifested in these people's mind. It deserves to be researched how this has come about.
I think one should start a show on Youtube in the spirit of epistemology like this example : Link and rather than questioning believers, they should go into conversations with the left liberal minds. See them as study objects and by asking the right questions, force them to think about what they actually believe and how they reached certain conclusions. At this moment I see left liberals are sick. They are in a state of psychosis and need to be guided through the mess they have made in their mind. Through honest and open questioning there is maybe a way for them. I also think the role of all those leftist studies like sociology and stuff that this group has snored up in the past decades have deluded them to this state. They are now in a place that they most passionately defend the things they are against. They need our help, which is really hard as they probably have sold our nations to Islam. Islam does not need to be at 50% to dominate, at 15 or 20% shit will get real. A militant doctrine at 20% can do huge damage to the sanity of a nation. Ask the Americans with their evangelicals and also consider Mulsims to be more extreme. These left liberals have sold us out (their dream of a tolerant society has been nothing but casino politics as they thought they could turn people believing in an intolerant doctrine with all their heart, into tolerant western people) , which is why many people from the right in the population have started calling them NSB-ers (Were the Dutch cooperators of the Nazi's in WW2). They sold us out to another collective totalitarian doctrine that wants to install a theocracy here if they can. Their end game is the opposite of what we stand for here in the west. Both in the Netherlands and Sweden. Their numbers are now at around 7% in the Netherlands and rising. I am sure the Syria war has forced us to take in a lot more. As I said, 50% is not the number, it's much lower before Islam is at a point of no return, let alone make a nation collectively more stupid. In Dutch classes with Muslims we now start to question the fact of the Holocaust actually did happen at all and evolution is suddenly also just a theory. The worst thing about it is that they are so militant about it and we in Western Europe are easily intimidated by it. If they demand room, they will; get it and they know it. They also feel superior to us as we are just Kaffirs. Kaffirs with a feeling of guild that you only have to label as racist, bigot to get your way. They have their Facebook pages full of Jew hatred, make gay jokes all the time, are actually racist themselves and look down on Kaffirs, but they are not bothered by this double standard at all. If they are offered all this room, it is rather weakness on the part of the society they chose to live in and not something to be respected. Islam is the perfect word anyway.
