Dwayne Haskins vs. Justin Herbert against common opponents (Washington, Michigan State, and Oregon State)

When I clicked on your comment, it didn't show me your original comment, so I apologise if I missed that you said 2017. Second, I don't think you can use the 6-1 vs. 1-4 argument you provided w/o context. It was actually 6-2 vs 1-4, you guys were (7-6). And three of those 4 losses w/o him we're against ranked teams better than anyone he played. So, to suggest those loses occurred because he wasn't the QB is wrong. You could only say UCLA was winnable, based on who he beat and lost too when he did play. Most of the teams he beat were cupcakes and he lost to the only ranked opponent he faced, who was the lowest ranked of all their ranked opponents. The only good team he beat that season was Wyoming and they didn't have a single quality win that season. All of their wins also came against cupcakes.
