DWP forced to admit more than 111,000 benefit deaths

I have no problems believing the necessary variables to make this work could be decided within 20 minutes in a conference room somewhere.

It’s black and white when you take into account a good few things, it’s just not black and white to someone so unfamiliar with the subject. I find it extremely hard to believe anyone to have committed suicide would have avoided, in the last 12 months prior to their death, to tell a doctor about their issues. If the information isn’t down on their medical records but “depression” or “anxiety” is, id have a further hard time believing the doctors weren’t just negligent. And/or even that our practices around data keeping in relation to mental health is extremely poor.

Imagine if everyone’s mental breakdowns at a docs were recorded into a system that could then match key words against tactics known to have worked.

That same system would have told the police, families and government agencies... eventually everyone(as a statistic) what the system believed to be wrong and what key words kept proping up in visits. I then conclude that the simple answer to your question is your incompetence and our governments incompetence. Money wouldn’t even play a deciding part on that one, not even the shitty 10 minute factory farmed doctor visits.
