DX12 is being removed from Dolphin main branch

Are you deliberately not reading my actual comments? Tell me which statement isn't true:

  • Vulkan has the potential to be/is better for gamers on Windows 10 who now use DX12 for their games once it out performs DX12 for them.
  • Vulkan has the potential to be/is better for gamers on Linux who now use OpenGL for their games once it out performs OpenGL for them.
  • DX12 is better for Windows 10 gamers when it out performs Vulkan.
  • Vulkan is better for Windows gamers to which DX12 is not available vs using DX9/10/11.

The only game on Windows 10 that uses both APIs as far as I can tell is DOTA 2. And from the videos I've seen DX12 & Vulkan basically come off better and worse depending on what's being rendered on screen. No clear winner there.

I've said before that Mad Max performs better on my Linux box using Vulkan than my Windows box running DX11. As long as it performs better, I'm happy to use Vulkan, but as a gamer I want to use whatever works better, no matter what it is and no matter what machine I'm on, Windows or Linux.
