E-learning is no boogeyman, but would be costly to implement properly, expert says

Wait till you learn that not everyone has a computer at home

Does that really matter? The blended learning model, which Ontario does offer as an e-learning option, takes place in the classroom with a teacher. One does not need a computer at home to participate in e-learning in general, nor within the e-learning options provided by the Ontario education system.

Additionally, we should talk about more interesting e-learning models that are currently not made available by Ontario, like the flipped classroom, which research has suggested produces the best results among the widest range of students. Ontario would do very well to go in this direction, surely?

I am not really sure where this idea that e-learning means that you are locked in your bedroom comes from? That is what what e-learning is.
