e-Sports journalist predicts Flaresz vs Dyrus results; Loco & Zikz reputable coaches/analysts disagree

But no one made up a bullshit story regarding Helios joining Dignitas are they?

Uhhh Richard Lewis wrote a report about Helios being offered and Dignitas trying to track him down.

A good journalist doesn't just rely on some random sources then posts a story, despite the fact that the OWNER of the fucking team has denied it.

Somehow I doubt Brayll just listened to some random guy telling him this. He most likely heard this from people who have given him correct information in the past. That's how sources work at a reputable website like the DailyDot.

As for taking into account that Hotshot denied it, well, I'm sure Hotshot has never lied and denied something that was actually true in the past, right? Teams and owners have numerous reasons to flat out lie about stuff like this. Whether it's embarrassing information (as is likely the case here, how CLG of a move would it have been if Kori actually joined as the jungler?) or if it has poaching implications (possibility there considering the rules on when MYM became a challenger team are/were fairly vague) or any number of reasons such as just not wanting to work with someone.

To be honest, I don't know why you and so many others take the side of someone who may have quite a bit to lose, whether it be money or popularity, vs the word of an unbiased third party, and yes, I do state Brayll was unbiased at the time due to never having issues with CLG prior to this one incident.

isn't some sort of cheap clickbait to generate page views, which is exactly what he did.

You do know the DailyDot puts their writers on salary, right? They're not paid by clicks.

He has no evidence whatsoever that anyone even offered Kori a spot

Why do you think some random journalist would make up some random story about some random player joining some random team? How do you think he nailed down the names Kori and CLG? If I were a thinking man, which I do like to think I am, I would assume one would have evidence to this. Especially when the person who wrote the story published to the DailyDot, a site that isn't going to publish something without evidence.

If this guy is saying it, he's got to prove it with something else besides him saying, "oh yeah hur dur some guy told me that from your management."

Ok, so you clearly don't know how journalism works. That would explain the total disconnect you seem to have with the reality of the situation. He does not show his sources or his evidence publicly. That's how you stop getting information and stop getting told things.

Brayll built up a good reputation prior to this one report. You can go back on almost any DailyDot post prior to this one and see, he's right 99% of the time. That's how journalism works. You report things, they become right, and you build a reputation. You build a word for yourself. You want to know why Richard Lewis is respected when it comes to his reports? It's not because he shows evidence or sources. It's because he's built up a reputation of never being wrong.

Hope you learned something and stop talking about something you're completely ignorant about.
