Genuine question. Are you a fan gameplay opportunities possible from mythology such as boss battles or the actual mythology itself (the stories, events, characters)?

If the former you should be pleased since gameplay is all that matters to Ubisoft. If the latter you shouldn't be very happy. Ubisoft loves to chicken out to appease sensitive people. Imo it hurts the narrative. It hurt Odyssey's narrative a lot.

Ubisoft Montreal is working on the Viking AC game. Odyssey was made by (imo the very inferior) Ubisoft Quebec. Quebec is making this game.
