Oh I agree. Games use to ship as a final product but the internet has changed almost everything in our lives so of course it's going to effect games as well. While it sucks as a consumer I have accepted that to get the full experience of a game you have to buy the complete edition which is usually cheaper than buying the DLC individually as they're released. I would love to go back to where we got a full game with the base price but those days are gone.

Honestly though I have put more time into $20 early access games like Rust that I can wait for the AAA games to go on sale and get the complete edition for the price of the base game or less. It sucks having to wait but I'm projecting what I want to see in the world, informed consumers who make informed decisions with their money.
