Eagle takes down deer

Actually, you completely misinterpreted what I said. Calling something is not an asshole, especially in my local culture where we call things assholes over the most mundane of matters. I'm incredibly fascinated by nature, and frequently watch documentaries and shows on the topic. I'm particularly taken by Savannah lions, which happen to perform some of the most brutal killings seen in nature.

In fact, I can watch through multiple killings without the faintest glimmer of an emotion. Sometimes I do root for animals to get away from the jaws of a predator, but that's just a reaction I can't control. Otherwise, I don't really care when they're eaten anyway. Because you see, most of the "prey animals" would just as soon as eat you if you were small enough as these lions would hunt you down. Refer to this video of a goat eating a chicken. In fact, I have difficulty subscribing to any kind of vegan propaganda because of this.

So, trust me when I say I am very familiar with the circle of life. However, you really should have at least watched the video before you said anything because first of all, it was not a quick death in the least. It was merely incapacitated, and most likely in agony until the eagle tore out its windpipe. Not only was the death probably agony-filled, but it also went back to the rest of the herd and killed them all for no reason.

It would have never been able to carry them all back, or eat them all in one sitting. That's why I called it an asshole, but it was not a moral standpoint whatsoever. You see, eagles are assholes. But goats are too. Deer are too. Rabbits? Probably assholes too. Sp, believe me, I respect the "truths," but I don't consider it a cool thing. I actually find it a little concerning that you consider killings a "cool thing" because even animals don't do that.

In fact, animals only kill because they have to, and if they didn't have to they wouldn't. That's why people are rarely eaten by Savannah lions -- because they don't just go out and kill everything in sight. They only do it every couple of days when they become hungry.
