When my kid was getting really going to early morning seminary they had an orientation meeting before high school started. They told all the parents & kids it was a requirement to complete all 4 yr or you couldn’t go on a mission or get into BYU BYUI BYUH. I think our stake straight up lied to the parents and kids to try and manipulate or make kids fearful their future would be destroyed if they missed seminary bc now the SAME people are telling me he should be on a mission and there’s no requirement. The only reason he didn’t bother applying to BYU is because he didn’t go to seminary second semester of Sophomore year. The great news is he will be a Princeton graduate in 22 & is loving life so they did him a huge favor ‘banning’ him from considering himself worthy enough to go on a mission or byu.
