I buy a lot of concert tickets, presales wont cause a show to sell out but there are a set # of tickets they allow for presales, so your best bet is to try during presale and if that doesnt work go on right as they go onsale to general public.

for presales, if you go on the concert page for the show you are looking for, it should explain the presales.

I just googled the band, im assuming you are looking for tickets for the halifax show? It doesnt seem like there are presales. I would contact the Rebecca Cohn to be sure, but best advice I could give is to refresh the page as soon as they go on sale.

For future reference if you see there is a presale:

- the page will often specify all the presales and how you can get a code.

- most common ones I see are certain credit card holders, people who follow the artist on spotify will get a code emailed, a newsletter signup, and facebook presales.

- If you dont qualify for any presales I can often find the codes by searching "(band/artist) presale code" on twitter.
