Please be patient with a newbie to this case. I don't know any forum backstories on posters, but the comments on this thread seem slightly hostile to DexterMorgan and I'm not sure why. To me, and I'm prepared to be told I'm an idiot, it appears that Dexter has brought an extremely compelling hypothesis here, that he has clearly done a lot of work on. I'm stunned by the DCC resemblance and associated facts.and figures. I also maintain a high level of skepticism. The mix of characters, occupations, geographic markers present in Dexter's story require exponentially less bending and shaping to fit the crime patterns than any others I've ever read, ie the ones that are like "..[the poi].. lived in Santa Barbara, had B&E arrests, owned shoelaces, but was morbidly obese and only had one hand - but maybe he had bariatric surgery and got in shape, and didnt lose his hand until 1981.." Dexter's theories as I understand them anyway, definitely conform to an Occam's razor approach and yeah seem to be really interesting. In addition to that, Dexter states that the DA office contacted him. So my question is, why isnt everyone all energized by this info? That said, I have my own reservations - I dont see any resemblance bw PCG and anyone, and if he graduated high school in '75 he is the oldest looking 20 year old I've ever seen. He looks like he could almost be the dad of the kid in front of him. Also I have no idea why anybody fixated on PCJ to begin with - he's just one of many dudes who went to those meetings, many of whom are probably out of camera range. Ppl in CA on any given day might be wearing shorts or puffy coats in my experience so it isnt that I dont think? Also it appears from old threads I've seen on the other forum that LE investigated a Sacto painting contractor years ago with regard to the Goleta Long's Drugs construction, etc., so I'd think this angle has been analyzed before. And as I posted previously, if EAR's pic was in a local yearbook at that time I'd be surprised if he hadnt been looked at decades ago. But none of that negates that this is super attention worthy I would think, and yet ppl seem to mainly be bagging on the OP, Dexter.
