Here are some fit pics.

I got this Eastpak Brown Leather Rucksack for $85 on Grailed almost two years ago. Its seen rain, snow, the floor of a thousand classrooms, a few roadtrips, and a ton of other abuse. I’ve never cleaned or conditioned it and its held up wonderfully.

To date, I’ve gotten four compliments on it. So I guess you could say things are going pretty well.

DISCUSSION

So I guess the whole point of me posting this album is to get other people stoked on fleshing out every inch of their aesthetic. This bag doesn’t warrant a lot of compliments - its not the flashiest, it’s got a household name, and you probably won’t see celebrities carrying it through an airport anytime soon.

What makes it special to me is that in some way, shape, or form, this bag puts a finishing touch on every outfit I wear.

I hope to instill a little discussion around the forum, mostly aimed towards newcomers. Is everything you own subsidiary to the look or image that you want to convey? Obviously, funds often restrict the purchase of ‘the perfect piece’ but (funds permitting) I would call it irresponsible to always cop the cheapest piece.

Get out there, do your research, find the perfect piece, and tell your friends back at mfa what they’re missing out on.
