Is eating vegan meat as a vegan/vegetarian morally distasteful.

This is not the first time I've been put on a spot for that argument. I've debated before, it's futile. You can either see it or you can't. I won't waste my words again. But as someone who used to play a lot of video games, I will say that I didn't play them for the violence or bloodshed depicted in it. Nor does most of the gaming community. It was more about improving skills and strategy, following an interesting story line and have fun while doing it. I've had plenty of friends who liked gaming and they played it for the same reasons too. Nobody I knew did it because they liked the gore part of it. I'm sure there would be exceptions. But it's not the norm. In case of simulated child porn, everybody does that for fapping to those images and videos. There's no other reason. This is the only thing that unites their community and it can only lead to shadier places or communities. And maybe it's an unfounded opinion, but that creates more harm than it does good. I'd rather not debate it and I won't say anything further. If you can't see why comparing the consumption of cultured meat with watching simulated child porn is unfair, nobody can convince you. I guess I'll just agree to disagree here
