Economics are hard

Equality? Define that... Are we talking about wealth inequality? Because we're getting into more fun.

Russia and the US are the developed worlds' worst offenders. These two empires have mini-emperors at the top. So yeah living in these two nations is like living in an empire. Does that mean if you fled the American empire you'd find a fairy tale land in places within Europe? The same places where literal kings, queens, and dukes live in actual castles paid for with government money? Those perfectly equal places?

If you moved a random US person to a random EU country, would their equality increase? Technically yes. A California born software developer moving to France would technically be closer to the richest French person than the richest American. Yet they would be paid less in France than in the US. They would gain more equality while simultaneously getting poorer. Is equality the only way to measure this?
