Edda Goering, Unrepentant Daughter of Hermann, Dies at 80

I’m posting this obituary bcs I feel her opinions are disturbing. She doesn’t seem to have a real awareness of other people. It says in the article: Hermann Goering, who was known for his lavish lifestyle, accumulated a vast collection of looted jewelry, furniture and artwork during the war. The German government seized most of his collection — property that Ms. Goering said rightfully belonged to her and her mother. “It was all profit for the government,” she said, “and of course I did not receive anything.”

Uh, your father helped kill millions of people. (He was the Air Marshal of Nazi Germany: very, very high up.) He’s infamous for stealing the artworks of Europe for himself. And she thinks it belongs to her.
