Yes. You could argue she has a dedicated hatebase, but so did Celica and Camilla and they won CYLs.

Edelgard has a great advantage because:

•Featured in most recent FE, and people are likely to vote for characters in more recent games. Heroes has also likely pulled in many new players from 3H who haven’t played previous FEs and will only vote for characters in 3H.

•Seems to be the most popular lord? At least judging from in game statistics. I haven’t seen Claude or Dimitri consistently on the polls in either Part 1 or Part 2 sections of the game. Edelgard has pretty much always been there. This might be a result of 3H still getting new players and BE being the most often first picked house, and people are more biased toward the first lord they went with.

•Very important character makes her stand out

Not sure who’s more popular in the overall player base, not just people online, between Dimitri and Claude. I could see at least one of them being there with her, but perhaps not both.

I will be fairly surprised if Edelgard is not on there. I’m not sure when Heroes generally does CYLs since I don’t play Heroes much but I am greatly looking forward to the reaction online when Edelgard wins.
