The Edict of Nikaea

You've just explained to me things I already know. I know why they were censured.

He quite simply did not.

Ah, right, I forgot that that scene took place on an orbital plate.

The Edict of Nikaea wasn't the middle ground, sensible option, the Librarian Program was.

I didn't say it was the middle ground, sensible option. I'm not sure where you got that.

Suggesting that the Emperor and Malcador approved of Russ or the Khan's approach is nonsense

That's... not what I was suggesting. My point was that Malcador's citing their restraint may have reflected on past attitudes regarding psychic legions. That it may at least partially explain why the Imperium reacted to the Thousand Sons with "You fucking donkeys", and why Russ and the Wolves weren't singled out like the Thousand Sons were.

The Emperor outlawed everyones psykers which is why I'm pointing out to you that both Russ and the Khan were hit by the Edict too.

And like I told you, I never said that they weren't included in it. I'm aware of that. You're still telling me things I already know.

Suggesting that Russ' approach was what he wanted does not follow at all from his actions.

That isn't what I was suggesting. I was suggesting that their attitude regarding psykers and the Warp may, in part, explain why they weren't singled out like the Thousand Sons. If you still think that I was suggesting anything else, I clearly need to work on my communication skills.

That's the long and short of it. If you don't buy it as a possibly explanation, that's fine. I never said you - or anyone else - had to.
