Educated people of Reddit what is the most disturbing incidence of cheating you saw in college?

Not my story, but it was pretty gruesome.

A buddy of mine was taking fresher level bio, and we had a term paper due on November 19. The buddy’s classmate (who we will name “Josie” for the purposes of the story) had a minor heart attack. She couldn’t get her term paper in on the due date because of the damage caused by the heart attack. She had the doctor write her a note saying she had a heart attack and needed an extension on the term paper. Unfortunately, this note had the wrong date (and Josie didn’t notice until less than 12 hours before go time). So, she scratches out the doctor’s date and writes the correct date on the note. She hands it in with the paper, and that’s that.

The next day, she gets a call on her cell phone while she’s driving saying that she’s been sanctioned for an academic offence. Josie later has a second, more major heart attack, and dies in the car.
