Education

The things is, you have probably denied all your passions all of your life. I managed to get a degree while I was still in (Computer Science), but only because I could convince my parents that it was practical. When if I had total freedom in my choice I'd have done Art, but probably I am better of now with the practical thing, because I actually love my job writing code and building computer systems. You could do something practical that you like a lot, or something non-practical that you love. You have to decide; do you want to enjoy your career and have good income, or love your career and possibly be poor (or really rich!). You can go for broke, or you can make a practical decision. Really it's up to you, but you need to work out, 1) what you enjoy and can give you good income, or 2) what you really really love. Btw this is not just an ex-JW problem, everyone has to decide this, but most people have had 18 years or more to figure out what their passions are (and a lot still don't know by then anyway...)
