Educators no longer need a college degree to begin teaching in Arizona public schools

Ah, Arizona must have gotten our education superintendents. They did the same thing here. They came in, eliminated text books, and a variety of other resources. Then with the money they saved, they gave themselves larger salaries and bonuses. Then they reduced school maintenance costs, and again the savings allow higher salaries for administrators. Then they reduced the quality of school lunches, and there again, tremendous savings, which further boosted their personal salaries. One of the last things they did is fired teachers with masters degrees and then even got rid of teachers with any degrees, then hired only people with certificates. This was HUGE cost savings. They pushed wages so low that you could work at McDonalds and make more. And, with that savings, they pushed their personal salaries even higher. The last super made so much money that he became a major land investor, buying hundreds of acres of investment property right outside of the school district. Then working with the city board, had the school district expanded, and that tremendously boosted the value of his investment. The next super made so much money that he was able to retire within just 2 years, and built the largest mansion we've ever seen, and has two new range rovers and one of those fancy new corvettes.

So go go Arizona! Make all the people at the top rich rich rich, and do your best to drive down requirements and salaries of "teachers". I can promise you, you'll create one of the worst educated populaces ever, and poverty and desperation will accelerate. Might as well sign your kids up for military service, because that'll be the only way they'll be able to earn a living in this highly competitive world where other nations are investing in actually improving education.
