I know what alt rights are and from a non-extremist point of view it’s very obvious that neo-communists can be equally extreme, just at the opposite end of the political spectrum but equally prone to violence; so I think it’s a descriptive epithet to showcase that, even if other people apparently happen to have used that word formation in other contexts before.

Extreme anger comes easily for both neo-nazis and neo-communists; extremists are like those holier-than-thou religious nuts who need everything to be about their own god and use the word “religious freedom” to mean that everyone should agree with them, no matter how much mind-bending it takes for them to get into that position. And I’m not interested.
